Posted - 03/03/2002 : 09:22:36 AM Well while I was in NYC I also got to hang out with my old roomie Burton C Bell(or BurtC Bell, as I like to call him). He is the singer in Fear Factory. I went to a bunch of their shows and took a whole bunch of pics and gave them to Burt. He told me they were going to put out a DVD and wanted to have a bonus fotos section. So I contributed all the photos I took of them. When I saw Burt in NYC, I asked him if the DVD had come out and he said, "Didn't you get my email?". Which I hadn't. Turns out, not only did I get photos on the DVD, but they used one of MY photos for the cover. Whooo Hoo!!! That makes 3 covers now. I am getting quite a portfolio.
and of course TR "Nomadic Wavelength" cover
and also the cover of Devon's newest CD
here is a link to Devon's site where you can get her new CD with my cover. http://devonmusic.com/recordings.html

Posted - 04/29/2007 : 05:59:36 AM BIG NUMBER 4.........

So, Peter Prince's most recent CD is SOLO ACOUSTIC which he has never done before, all his previous CD's were with his BAND Moon Boot Lover.
We played a show with Peter tonite in Utica, NY and the first thing I asked him when I saw him was I want a copy of the new solo CD. Little did I know that Peter had used one of my pics of him from our jaded past of TouRing together for the cover. I was shocked and quite honored. When I opened it I was even more surprised to see that all the inside photos were also my shots. That makes #4 for Fluffy covers. I think I missed my calling. LOL
If you have never checked out Peter Prince I would say this is a great place to start. Not just because of my cover but because he is absolutely amazing. I have never seen Peter play with Moon Boot Lover I have only ever seen him solo acoustic. He has had guests sit in with him periodically on those solo acoustic shows but I have never seen Moon Boot Lover proper, just heard the CD's. I think Peter really shines solo. He is the consumate performer. There are few who can take some else's audience and completely capture them as his own in just a couple of songs. I watched Peter do it every nite when he TouRed with us as TR's opening act. Absolutely impressive. You can check out Peter at the following links:

I agree w/ u that it is an odly designed navigating system for the dvd. I think some of the options only work on comp dvd's, not sure though.
But the parabol/a video just recently came out. Really only gets played on MTV2 and Much Music rarely. But you can download a copy of it, but i wouldnt recomend it if you are on dial up.

Posted - 06/17/2002 : 4:57:02 PM Yeah I did, but my only complaint is that DVD is really hard to navigate(I think). It is really EZ to miss stuff if you aren't paying attention. Someone needs to start a complete listing of what is on the video so people can make sure they have seen everything. How do you know when you have seen it all?

It was really neat to see a piece of my art tying their whole DVD together. I was pretty psyched.

Posted - 03/11/2002 : 05:25:28 AM Bad News!! Burt just emailed me a copy of his press release. He is quitting Fear Factory!!! Here it is for those interested. Fear Factory R.I.P. Burt C Bell see ya in PA!!
Official Press Statement Personally written by Burton C. Bell
On Saturday, March 2nd, 2002, I met with all the members of FEAR FACTORY. At that meeting I announced my personal feelings about the present situation within the band. I have been unhappy for quite sometime both interpersonally, and business wise, and that has rendered me creatively restrained. After extensive deliberation within my self, I decided that the best possible answer I was comfortable with was to leave the band. This is not a whimsical advance into the unknown, it is something that I have been thinking about for quite sometime. I have kept my feelings and realizations to myself until it was evident that it was a relationship that was unproductive to me as an artist. This decision was a sudden development to most everyone to whom I am familiar with. We have experienced many highs, and just as many lows in the span of 12 years, and I do not regret a single moment. I have searched within me, every possible avenue of execution in making this decision and I feel that for me, and my growth as an artist, moving forward is the best possible solution. I would like to extend my wishes to the guys “the best of luck in their future endeavors”. I will miss the relationship I had with the fans and I want to thank them for their support through all the years. Burton C. Bell

Posted - 03/04/2002 : 07:57:11 AM Thanx again for all the kind words, compliments and support. It means alot. Hey St Jude, whats your friends name? Maybe I met him. He doesn't go by Buddah does he?
Burt and I work and lived together for quite a while. He was my assistant manager at a record store called Penguin Feather that I managed. We had some awesome times then. We both miss our Penguin Feather days very much. It was kinda like we owned the store even though we didn't. We almost had complete, free reign. None of the owners ever came by. We barely ever talked to them. In the end, the fucked us all pretty hard. That is actually the cause and reason that I ended up working at 9:30 club. It was only supposed to be a part time job until I found something else. That was like 13 years ago. Funny how things work out. One day your taking a part time job, next thing you know you been there your whole life. Seems like only yesterday. Anyway, Burt had this snake when we lived together, I am TAD freaked by reptiles, and one day we came home and the snake was gone. We couldn't find it anywhere. I slept on the floor in those days and Burt had to let me sleep in his bed and he took my place on the floor until we came across the snake 2 weeks later. I came home one day and the damn thing was just sitting in the tub. I shrieked and Burt came running in and grabbed the snake. We have no idea to this day how that thing survived, or where it went for that 2 weeks. All I know is I didn't want it crawling across me while I was sleeping. Burt also had a pet rabbit.(Not at the same time) After Penguin Feather closed, Burt moved to LA and started trying to get a band together. Fear Factory is the result. Ironically, when I met TR he told me one of his fave bands was Fear Factory. He couldn't believe it when I told him Burt and I had worked together and lived together and were best buds. Then one day when we were in LA for a TR show Burt came by the hotel to pick me up so we could hang out just as TR and Diane came back from getting coffee. TR was like so excited to meet Burt. Kinda like you guys are when you get to meet TIM. Pretty small world all in all. I would start working for a guy who plays a style of music that would never lead you to believe he would be a fan of Fear Factory who I happen to be friends with. WEIRD WEIRD WEIRD SMALL WORLD. It's all really kewl when you stop and think about it. Seems like it was all just meant to be.
