Posted - 12/06/2003 : 2:30:06 PM Ok, someone I know is waiting for a liver transplant. She is actually in Cedars Sinai hospital as I write this. Assuming she lives long enough for a transplant and survives the operation, she will need to find a home (not sure if temporary or permanent) for their boston terrier puppy. Her immune system will be down and she can't have a dog lick her face. The boston puppy is always jumping on their bed and licking them.
I would take it in a heartbeat but I am on the east coast. Just wondered if anyone in California would know of anyone who could take this puppy in. |

Posted - 12/07/2003 : 05:47:15 AM Thanks everyone, I think Buzz has a temporary home. Now I am just praying Adrienna gets well. She has a rare liver disorder. She is priority one for a transplant because her lifestyle did nothing to bring this on and she is gravely ill. I just hope she can hang on til a compatable liver is found.
She has a great positive attitude and she told her nurses that is because she knows she is loved and can still love! |

Posted - 12/06/2003 : 3:11:48 PM Pam, If only my apt. complex allowed dogs... my roomates and I are always saying how we want a dog, we are even thinking about finding a small house next year so that we can have a dog. I hope they find a donor for your friend and she is is OK. |
