Posted - 12/09/2003 : 3:54:05 PM I bought a cool cd last night called Bird Up, The Charlie Parker remixes. It takes a bunch of Parker's work from the 1940's and has some interesting musicians remix them. Serj Tankian from System of a Down does one song, and there are others by such artists as RZA and Ravi Coltrane, so you can see the diversity. I think it's a pretty hip cd, pefect for listening to while relaxing, or doing some work.
