Posted - 06/06/2004 : 12:02:25 AM I was watching MTV2 (for a good song) and "Float On" came on and I wanted to see what it was about. I was pleasently surprised, this is a pretty good song and I have no idea who this band is.
I guess this is one of those rare occasions were MTV plays something good. |

Posted - 06/07/2004 : 11:27:48 AM i've found that few things are more annoying than a) scensters and 2) indie hipsters. the combination of both most be maddening. |

Posted - 06/07/2004 : 01:26:14 AM For a while I was really trying not to like their new cd because I feared it would mean I was some Indie-pop scenester kid, but damnit, I broke down and got the cd because it is quite simply very very good. The Flaming Lips even make an appearance on the last track. I'd check out the whole cd if I were you, it's really catchy and grows nicely on you. |

Posted - 06/06/2004 : 3:22:38 PM I enjoyed the song the first few times I heard it, but now listening to the radio at work, it comes on way too much. It is not a song you can listen to more then twice in a day. |
