Well the kindness of kind people once again shocks me. I haven't posted on this board in... well let's see... 1264 active topics worth of days. But I just got a delivery from UPS, a package from Amazon. I have ordered items from amazon recently, but have gotten them all, so I didn't know what was going on... So today the package comes, and here it is... A gift! From someone on this board!

Thank you Teri! Of course you know Leo Kottke is in my veins, and I still love to listen to him... so yes, the Anthology is much appreciated! I'm listening to it now. And how funny.. I've recently gotten back into a Kottke phase!

So thank you Teri! I saw a topic about board members meeting board members... I can tell you, I've met Teri, and there is none better!

There wasn't a very big base of snow on the mountain. There were places you could see grass trying to peek out. It snowed while we were there, though, so one day was a really good powder day. The sun came out toward the end of the week, and there was one run that iced over and caused many of us to crash.

I have skied only once before in Austria, and that was in Kirchdorf last January. I think it's near St Anton (it's definitely near Kitzbuhel if that helps) but I'm not sure...

Hey Teri, how was skiing? how was the snow? Have you been to St. Anton in Austria? I really really want to go skiing there.

You are very welcome! I was on Amazon updating my wish list (and ordering PJK a little something) and checked to see if you were in there. And you were! I'm glad you liked it!

Sorry I didn't reply sooner; I've been off in Austria (http://panpic2.feratel.at/panpic2/index.jsp?design=panpic&ID=5285&adv=off) skiing all week and just got back yesterday.

I have to say, I don't even know... is teri still in Germany?

Cool on the car... as the EotY at Virgin, you should get some sort of car perk, right? I remember that little black car. Good times, good times.

ahhhh, Now I am beginning to see what Teri meant when she said that maybe I should update my Amazon.com wish list. Touche Teri!!! While speaking of cars, mine has finally taken my last dump on me. My transmission is shot, and it isn't worth it to fix, so I'll be hunting for a new (used) car in about 2 weeks here.

Hey don't knock it.. I ride my bike a heck of a lot too! Class, work, etc. Not always, but a lot. I love it.

Haha.....no way. That thing broke down over 2 years ago. Now I own a bike to travel back and forth from school to my house off campus. Six people live there and I'm the only one that doesn't own a car. The result: lots of money saved from paying for gas and being in better shape. Mwahahaha!!! And let me tell you, the ladies flock to my bitchin' bike. Add the backpack and fill it with all my engineering books and I become unstoppable.

I'll definately be around until Teri sees her thanks.

What's up man? Still pimpin' the white Volvo? :)
