What do you think?

I've been listening to their newest album, Frances the Mute, a lot lately and I'm really loving it. The energy that the band produces in their music is insane. Kinda makes you want to lose your mind. Some songs do feel a bit repetitious, though, but that doesn't stop me from really liking it.

If you think this band sucks massive balls, I really don't give a shit (I'm looking at you, HotKoreanGirl).

I really can't get into the Mars Volta, but I really dig Sparta, and I definaely used to like At The Drive In.

History lesson: The old band At The Drive In broke up and split off with some members forming Sparta, and the others to Mars Volta.

I like the first album more then the new one. But the new one is good. Volta takes a while to get into. I hated them when i first heard Deloused, but after time i realized how good it was.

Well some of my favorites are:

From Frances the Mute:
Cygnus... Vishmund Cygnus
The Widow
L'via L'viaquez

And from Deloused in the Comatorium:
Son et Lumiere into Inertiatic
Roulette Dares

so seriously, what songs of theirs do you recommend? I am interested. Also, I went to this show over the weekend to see this band Prefuse 73 and The Battles...prefuse Is awesome, but the battles were amazing--I had never heard of them and was completely blown away. I think Battles may sounds a little like Vulta

hey hey, so I seem to have a reputation around here for sucking balls...no actually I have heard good things about the Mars Vulta, though I haven't heard anything about their music...one of my friends went to their concert recently and was really impressed
