it seems this isn't the best place to post this, but a lot of you guys seem to be into all sorts of stuff. So if anyone's got the skills let me know...what are your best Starcraft strategies?

I like to play as Terran, pump out marines quick, discover enemy base, get tanks and planes and start rushing forward. Bring a few scvs to build turrets and bunkers to effectively keep powerful players in their base at choke points. Then dropship in troops and blast their butts in half.

I'm decent at both Terran and Protoss, but I could stand to be a lot better...I'd like to learn Zerg also, as it's one race I haven't explored--I know Zerg spawns super fast so you can create lots of dudes to rip up an opponent fast. Scourge and Hydra's are the bomb. Man I can't wait to get home and drink beer and play it!

I've never played that game. I do, however, still play the first Unreal Tournament from time to time so I can get my ass kicked by all the 12 year olds that have been playing it since they were toddlers.

I freakin' love that game.

I like Toss, myself. Get a mess of probes and 4 or 5 gateways and pump out zlots and goons like mad, and just swarm 'em, taking out their expansions first to cut off their resources. Sometimes I'll send 2 zlots in, sneak 'em around their base and kill off their miners early in the game, it breaks their concentration and cuts their resources deep, and all the while you're building up back home. Build some scattered cannons in case they go straight air, or cloaks, etc.

I can't wait for StarCraft: Ghost to come out.

Nice quote, btw, Kazi

probably holds some kind of record for the longest time actually having a big enough fan-base for internet multiplayer to still exist. it's gotta be almost 8 years old by now and it's going strong.

It's an old RTS for the computer. Made by the same people as WarCraft.

I like being cheap. I'll play as the Zerg and make as many Zerglings as I can as fast as I can then go rush the other player. Usually the other guy hasn't had time to build anything so they're pretty much sitting ducks.
