Well, unfortunately the school year is resuming in less that one month (for those of us in school) but the one good consequence of this, is the concert series my school provides.
Already I have tickets to see Arlo Guthrie, Bela Fleck & Edgar Meyer, Hapa, and the Johnny Clegg Band. I plan on getting tickets for John Cleese, Gillian Welch, Emmy Lou Harris, etc, etc. I'm more impressed with my school with every year, in terms of concerts. |

cool, i'm not gonna lie, i just want summer to end and school being.. Oct. 10th victor wooten is playing at my school and i think it's like 5 bucks for sutdents or somthing! |

$25 dollars is pretty much standard and you get to be way closer, the sound is better and you don't have to worry about drunk assholes, and people trying to sell me bud, like I would by it from them.
What is why I will not go see Dave again... |

I go to lil' ol' Chico State, (California State University, Chico, to be exact).
My job for the summer has been cleaning all the dorms out, and thankfully ticket prices here are relatively cheap. For Bela Fleck I believe they were $25 a piece. Much better seats too, than a fifty dollar lawn ticket for a DMB concert. |

Bela Fleck & Edgar Meyer. That show is going to be insane. I'm going to have to grab a ticket and go see them in november when they are up in washington. I'm hoping they play something Bela wrote in Africa when he was out discovering the roots of the banjo. He was supposed to put out a new album in the vein if I remember right. Either way it should be a heck of a show. |

Awesome Arthen! My personal finances got crunched so I won't be getting to many concerts, but real happy that you will be, and such great artists too!
