Posted - 08/02/2005 : 3:51:38 PM Hey Everyone, Sorry if I've been out of touch for the last month or so, but I moved into a new house on June 1st and have been without phone and internet for much of the past month. As you can see in the picture, it is actually a house, and not an apt!!! That's right we are movin on up! I can't tell you how much I love this place. I've been told the large door on the right leads to something called a "garage"... apparently for parking a car, who knew? My roomies and I decided NOT to get cable, and I think I like it. With no TV, I've been doing much more productive things like reading, and exercizing! Anyways, I'll try to get caught up on all these posts either today or tomorrow.

Posted - 08/04/2005 : 05:41:38 AM I agree with the "cheap" comment. In Redondo Beach that would have been way more than $600K.
Sorry for being gone so long. I've been busy at work so haven't had time to post recently. Getting a new boss next week (I think) so hopefully life will get better...

That's cheap.

Posted - 08/03/2005 : 2:14:16 PM I wondered about that, but someTIMes people buy a house together since it's too expensive on your own these days. And Teri, where have you been? You've been missed here. Peace, Robin |

Posted - 08/03/2005 : 1:21:28 PM Right, I noticed that too Teri, but regardless of whether or not Kevin owns this house, I would like to eventually own one. |

oooops! I guess I was the one that got everyone mislead. Sorry |

BTW, Kev, I haven't gotten cable either, but I found that I spend all that money on NetFlix and DVDs instead. I can't win. ;-) |

Posted - 08/02/2005 : 6:49:25 PM This house is awesome! Just fantastic!
Like everyone else said, I too hope to eventually own my own piece of real estate. But that time is far, far away I'm afraid.
Sidebar: Kevin, I haven't forgotten about the tapes. I WILL do them...some time. And you WILL get them back, of course. Please forgive my delay. |

Posted - 08/02/2005 : 5:29:53 PM Congratulations Kevin! I love it! It's beautiful! Ok, I get a little over excited about things like this, but I appreciate home ownership!
BTW I am going to email you about some business things.

Yep, thats how it is. I honestly don't know how young people are affording homes today, they are so damned expensive. My home is now worth over 5 times what I paid for it. Sounds great and it is, but at the same time, I will be here forever as I can't afford to move anywhere else! |
