Posted - 06/04/2009 : 11:58:32 AM I saw TR play on Jimmy Fallon last night with DMB.
The camera sure didn't seem to want to show Tim very much (other than during the solo on "Funny The Way It Is". |

Hello... I found this forum, because I just had to post somewhere how incredibly awesome Tim was on Jimmy Fallon last night... and how great his "Why I Am" solo is! I'm a DMB fan... have seen Dave & Tim play twice in Vegas. Tim is absolutely incredible. I love that he's been playing with the band these last two tours.
Hello, and welcome. |

Fallon was giddy as a school girl.
I thought he was a school girl.
That's right! I knew I fucked it up. |

Not that that matters much at all...
Jimmy Fallon is a known DMB fan. I am not surprised that he knows who Tim is, and likes him. |

Posted - 06/04/2009 : 10:52:51 PM I was lucky enough to get a band "bench pass" for the Fallon show, and stood directly above Tim for the band's performance. Needless to say, I was in awe the entire time and could not take my eyes off of TR and Carter as they played the two song set. Such an amazing experience |

Posted - 06/04/2009 : 3:39:04 PM That stage was waaaaay too small for all those people. I think if they had a normal sized stage for them Tim would have been in his usual spot and gotten more air time. Oh well, the Fuse show MORE than made up for it. They were showing TR a lot, and I loved it!!! |

Posted - 06/04/2009 : 1:46:23 PM Because to the uninformed masses they know Dave Matthews, that Crazy Violinist, some Drummer, Bassist, and a kewl horn player (rip). So now there is some other Electric Guitarist, Trumpeter, and another new Horn player. I am sure that the camera man and director don't really know more than just that.
I mean, watch the Live 8 footage of Pink Floyd. The camera barely glimpsed at Richard Wright. It has been said that the camera man didn't know he was a member (let alone an important one).
But we know how great and important Tim is. |
