Posted - 08/03/2009 : 10:57:31 PM I got it!
They should do Big Dick Ego Trip with Dave and Rashawn on vocals, and Dave should run around with a big pair of hedge clippers that look blood stained . . . and the rest need to wear gas masks!
I'd love to see the reaction of the crowd to that one! |

Posted - 08/03/2009 : 10:52:20 PM Also, I'd love to hear some TR songs teased within Tim's solos during the DMB songs. If we can't get a full on Tim solo, at least we can get that...
Also, more Flying V at DMB shows... Tim looks like even more of a badass with that guitar in his hands, lol. |

A full on TR song would be great in DMB's set. I'm all for them exposing Tim's music to more people.
"Bagby", DMB's FOH soundman has been playing TR3 "Radiance" before DMB comes onstage almost every nite. I thanked him in C-ville & he said "You don't have to thank me I LOVE the album!" He said that right in front of Rob Evans who happened to be right behind him. After Bagby walked away Rob told me that was one of the greatest compliments of his life. Love when that kinda stuff happens. :)
I've noticed quite a few DMB fans on the message boards becoming interested in the album after hearing it before the DMB shows! Are there any samples/clips/full songs available online other than the Do You Wanna that's on the myspace page? A few people were wanting to give it a test-drive before buying it, but I wasn't sure where else to send them.
1. Good for Rob.. he deserves the kudos on that. I've turned a few onto Radiance, and they've all been pretty surprised by it. I love being at a DMB show and people around me go 'What music is this?' prior to the band coming out.
2. I started a thread at AM on Tim's album and so many have popped in wondering that, so it might be a good marketing move if you could put streaming clips up or something.. if at all possible. The other thing I loved was when someone popped in, wanting to know where they could pirate it.. so many of us metaphorically jumped on them and told them to just go buy it. 100% of the proceeds go to the artist, not a label so just get it! I love when that happens. |

Figured as much. Thanks for the update. |

Posted - 07/02/2009 : 5:48:23 PM It was printed on the band's setlist as "-TIM-" so it was planned. No word on what song it was yet. The tape should be out eventually. |

Posted - 07/01/2009 : 7:42:24 PM Nice. I wonder if it was actually a Tim solo tune, or if he was just dicking around while the rest of the band came back out on stage. |
