Does Tim sing a couple verses in Money on the Live trax that came with big whiskey? I thought I heard his voice in there....maybe i missed this discussion previously. |

Yeah, Dave really sings that song differently. Maybe he really is trying to mimic Gilmour on it. That was the song he WANTED to play last tour.
I would love to see the band perform Shine On, Echoes, or Run Like Hell! |

yeah at times it's clearly dave and then others its weird. I've only listened to it on a 15 dollar cd/stereo at my work so it's a touch difficult to get the finer details.... |

It's all Dave, but I definitely think it sounds a lot like Tim's voice. I'm glad I'm not the only one who hears it :)
EDIT: I just listened to it again, and it doesn't sound like Tim to me anymore... I think I've only listened to it in my car until now, so maybe the speakers in there make it sound different. It's definitely a lot lower and raspier than Dave's usual voice, though. |
