I just wanted to give you guys a little tease of summer plans. Tim is going to rest up a little in May and June and then hit the south in July. Looks like Atlanta, Charlotte, Charleston, then Baltimore and a few others....then....looks for a couple of possible dates with Stanley Jordan. More to come soone but things are coming along.

Peace

Man, I am looking so forward to seeing TR again in Lubbock! Anyone else going to the show?
SurferX Posted - 08/12/2006 : 8:03:22 PM
Well, I was planning on recording the show...I'll have to check into it...I never thought that they might not allow it...
Fluffy Posted - 08/12/2006 : 2:52:38 PM
Hey Zak, have you contacted the venue in LV about recording? I am curious what their response was. Since they are a county organization they may have a problem with our open recording policy. Just didn't want you to leave it until the last minute. Guess all that only matters if you were planning on recording the show. LOL
SurferX Posted - 08/12/2006 : 01:54:51 AM
So, as it turns out...I get three doses of TR in a row...First the 19th in Vegas, then the 24th in Austin, then the 25th in San Antonio!

Man, I love my job...

Finally! Vegas! I am so there!

Man...and I just sold my MicroTrack recorder because I never used it...Perhaps it's time to try out the Mbox and G4 for a concert?

Then, on top of that...I might be in Austin the week of the 24th...What is this world coming to?

Also, I wish I knew that TR was coming out here...I would have offered to open for him...I am working on a 20-30 minute soundscape on Stick, and I'm trying to start gigging...Oh well...Next time...

Hey Tom, long TIMe no see!

Frisco, sounds like it should be in California not Colorado. Glad you will be able to catch that show!

Thought of you during the Stanley Cup. Yep, I am going through serious hockey withdrawal! World Cup and Wimbledon are mildly filling the void! Just can't hack baseball though.
thomasode Posted - 07/01/2006 : 5:03:25 PM
anyone gonna be at the frisco show??
PJK Posted - 06/26/2006 : 9:19:21 PM
Ah Matt that is awesome! Hummm, makes me want to catch that show too. Now that I am not working (just for the summer) maybe I will stop in MD and then head home on Thursday, but I will just have to play it by ear. I thought of hanging around Charlottesville an extra day. But I admit, it's tempting!

Regardless, have a great TIMe!
JemezFoodPeople Posted - 06/26/2006 : 7:30:52 PM
Hey guys
I am going to be an opening act when TIM comes to Towson, MD
After taking about 5 months off to get my life back together, I have picked the guitar back up and am fortunate to play again with my hero.

hope to see some of you there!!

Sorry to burst the bubble, but I think that TR will only be performing with Stanley Jordan at 2 of the NC shows, Kitty Hawk and Nags Head. I am not positive of that yet but at this TIMe that is how it's looking. Still hope to see you in Towson.

To indeed burst the bubble yet again, apparently Stanley Jordan has previous engagements and will not be able to make the shows in NC either. Sorry if I got anyone's hopes up to high. It's a crazy business and "things change".
