Okay so i recently bought a domain for my band as well as the space...anyway i know very little about designing a website..but im still curious..does anyone know how much basic flash programs cost..or how that works?....im not planning on buying a flash program then trying to learn how to use it...id just be interested in knowing...actually any information u can provide on web design would be greats Thanks!
also ..if i hired a company to do the web design what questions should i ask to make sure i get the best bang for my buck?..thanks for the info....again
but...my partner is not busy...and he can make a site that you could essentially update yourself...and it would be cheap.

A flash program can be a few hundred dollars, and having someone do flash for you can be expensive as well. But as everyone knows you can get everything you need off of kazaa lite.
Depends on how complicated the flash is. I've done some flash design, and one of the companies I do programming for will do it as well. If it's simple enough, I might be tempted to do it for free. If it's on the more complicated end, it shouldn't cost you *too* much. I'd probably budget $30+/hour for it though. If you have a really really clear concept of what you want to do and have any images that are necessary, you can save yourself some $$$.
