I dont know how many of you folks like Sabbath, but theyre in my top 10 favourite bands. I think they, along with the likes of Zep, created heavy metal as we know it today by infusing blues with hard rock.
Anyway, a classic show, unknown to exist for over 30 years, was just dug up. Heres a blues cover by Ozzy and the rest of Sabbath from '69:

the name's not really known, but it sounds like "early morning school" or something like that. But this is definatly classic Ozzy, before the 80s turned him into the Fat Elvis we know today. |

unfortunate, but its still fucking cool. I hope to see them on my birthday with the g/f at ozzfest. Her dad's first concert was Sabbath (w/ Yes), so it would be cool to have her go see them. they could play the same old tired setlist all they want and i'll still see them as many times possible (5 times and counting I believe, and met them all once  )
I think a post Ozzfest tour is in the works too  |
