Hey all,
I'd like to humbly ask some of you to help out on this- My friends are in a Philly-area band and have just released a single to the local "pop" radio station. The song isn't a very generic/manufactured sound (it is actually a nice dramatic rock song) so it might take some effort to get it into the rotation.

I have a particular vested interest in this song because I actually did some of the digital editing and mixing myself!

I am trying to get some of my friends to send requests to 93.7 WSTW in Wilmington DE.

I'm not going to ask you all to blindly support some random band, so please check out some songs on:
http://www.myspace.com/jealousycurve
the band's website is:
www.jealousycurve.com

the new single is "The World is You" (with a few measured shortened to fit on the radio). If you dig it, please pelase please email requests@wstw.com and let them know! It would be a tremendous help. These guys are friendly, humble, talented, and most of all, appreciative of their fans. It would be something special to hear them get some airplay.

Well Matt, as you know, I am not one to pull punches and tell you something is good if I don't like it. I don't think that it serves the purpose. Constructive criticism is always better. Having said that, I actually like this band. I especially like "Selfish" and "Legacy. Don't particularly like "Free". As for "World" I like the song, BUT I don't think it has much commercial viability. It's a tad boring when compared to the other songs. Selfish on the other hand would make a great single minus the long intro which I really love but radio would never wait around for that long for the vocals to kick in. "Legacy" sounds like the kind of song that would appeal to early Pearl Jam fans without sounding LIKE Pearl Jam, if that makes any sense. LOL I see potential in the band, I wouldn't rush out and buy it based on what I heard, but if they gave me a copy there is enuf there that I would give it a fair and unbiased listen. Hope this helps, good luck, I will send in a request for ya though. Well see what happens. Who knows, maybe it will become a big hit. Far more boring songs have.

Peace & Keep the Faith

hey Fluffy thanks for checkin them out. I am in agreement that Selfish and Legacy are the best. Hopefully, if one of the more poppy singles gets some airplay, people can discover the more rockin tunes
