It should also be noted that Tim said in an interview that Carter and Leroi were also members of the band at it's birth.
As far as the start date, this is a quote from an interview: "We played together in Charlottesville since I moved there in '81. I would play with LeRoi and Carter"
awesome, thanks. Tim & Carter also played in Secrets as well, I believe.
I just looked at the interview thread, and tim says "I've been doing TR3 since '84". I'll put that down for now, and hopefully we can ask him ourselves at a later time (good for your FAQ, Kev)
