This week is a week in which many state representatives will be deciding whether or not to let Bush riegn free over our "enemies." Many of them WILL be paying attention to feedback they get from the American people in this coming week as well. I am listing the email addresses of US house and senate representatives so you can voice your opinion if you choose to. I don't want to try to persuade you to speak for or against it, but here are some facts-granted they're weighed but whatever... 
1.) Iraq has not attacked us in any way shape or form. No military action has ever been conducted by us w/o a direct attack on our forces. Many attacks on us are believed to be staged though....
2.) The Nazi's made people believe what they were telling them by repeating something over and over and saying the things loudly. Anyone who spoke out against them was slandered. Sound familiar? Representatives who speak out against Bush are being called traitors. *I'm sorry, but an American who speaks his opinion is not a traitor.
3.) This country has not requested a regime change ever. Stalin had the bomb. China had the bomb. Leaders who were ruthless and literally insane had the power to use weapons of mass destruction but this government is now saying that Iraq is a major threat? Something has changed here. I realize 911 has alot to do with it but still, Pearl Harbor? Also during the gulf war one of Saddam's big projects was to make a HUGE CANNON. A Cannon...the longest ever that supposedly had a long range. Basically a big gun....right...

Here's some more stuff to consider. These points were made by Wisconsin Senator Russ Feingold.
1. I'm troubled by the administration's shifting justifications for invading Iraq - sometimes they claim that it is because Iraq harbors terrorists, sometimes they focus solely on concerns about Iraq developing weapons of mass destruction. What exactly is the mission being proposed? Are there viable options for achieving that mission short of full-scale invasion?
2. If we believe that Saddam has weapons of mass destruction, how confident are we that military invasion would secure them rather than spurring him to use them or provoking the government of Iraqto sell them off to the highest bidder? Do we have a clear plan for securing weapons of mass destruction in the confused aftermath of a military campaign?
3. If we pursue a policy of regime change, replacing Saddam with instability is unacceptable. What will it take to stabilize the situation? Are we talking about a long-term occupation of the
country?
4. Given the opposition to invasion among many key allies and throughout the Arab world, how would it affect our fight against terrorism?
5. What costs can the American people anticipate if military action against Iraq does occur - in terms of military casualties, civilian casualties, and taxpayer dollars? How will it effect the U.S. economy? If the proposed intervention is to be unlike the Gulf War, when we received economic and military support from many nations, what will the cost be of going it alone?

i don't really kno what he situation is. i'd rather not go to war because it will be the ppl who are my age (13 and up 0 that will have to fight in it.
