I don't know if many members of the board are into classical stuff, but if you are I recommend this CD. I always loved Bela's solo acts the one from live art and my favorite being the one I was at in august. Anyway I just got this album and I love it. So if you're into banjo or classical music I recomend it. |

I've had it for about four or five months now, and it's definitely a beautiful CD.
Along with this one I'd say "The Bluegrass Sessions: Tales from the Acoustic Planet Vol. 2" |

I actually just got the Tales from the Acoustic Bluegrass as well and I love it. The Vol. 1 of the Tales from the Acoustic is cool too. |

Ya it's got moto perpetual on it and that track is hardcore. Listening this CD has inspired me to break the banjo out more and I even worked out a version of all you need is love. I saw bela do that last month during his solo spot. It sounds so cool on the banjo. Bela is just simply awesome. |

I always pick up the banjo after listening to Bela too. He brings out the banjo in all of us, I suppose. |

Yeah, I'd say the sighing would definitely come after the...nutting. |

I scored myself a free copy of perpetual motion this past week from work. We had that cd as part of a "Vital Soloist" end cap, and whenever there is a sale, we usually get sent promo copies of the cds on sale to play in-store, well now that the sale is over, I snagged that baby right up, and might I ad I felt quite refined listening to classical music in the car last night.

Ya the album just came out but from what I heard it's selling out fast and it's hard to find. I listened to some at barnes and noble from the sample tracks and it's prettys sweet. It does come with the DVD which kinda shows life on the road and stuff with them. It's all live material and it's suppossed to be pretty improvisational in style and this one leans more towards jazz then Bluegrass and then of course there is the classical stuff. I'll be getting mine when I have the money. |
